1 · Listing basics
2 · Home / arrival features (Help 1961)
Toggle only features that meet Airbnb’s definition for your listing. Each selected feature needs at least one clear, guideline-compliant photo.
3 · Room / bathroom features
Room features are added per room in Airbnb (Photo tour → room → Accessibility features). Mark what is true for at least one guest-usable room, then note which room in captions.
4 · Your accessibility checklist
Before you upload: Airbnb reviews accessibility feature photos against its guidelines. Include a tape measure in width photos when Help asks for it; photograph features from multiple angles; write captions that say which areas are (and are not) accessible. Path: Listings → Your space → Accessibility features (and per-room Accessibility under Photo tour). This page is a planning checklist only.
Accessibility features checklist — photo + caption prompts for features you mark as present, aligned to Help 1961 definitions.
Host-entered facts only — you decide which features truly apply; we do not inspect your property.
Not modelled: ADA compliance, building codes, ranking uplift, conversion rates, or any earnings effect.
Not legal, safety, accessibility-consulting, or platform-policy advice. No income or badge is promised. Airbnb Help / Resource Center and your dashboard win if they differ.
Questions
Where do I add accessibility features in Airbnb?
Help 1961: Listings → select listing → Your space → Accessibility features → Add → confirm you have the feature → add photos → Save. Room-level features: Photo tour → select room → Accessibility features.
Why do my accessibility photos need a tape measure?
Airbnb’s Resource Center on photographing accessibility features asks hosts to include a tape measure for dimensions like doorway width so guests can judge whether a mobility device will fit. Help 1961 photo criteria for wide entrances spell out showing the full tape and a close-up of the measurement.
Is this the same as the listing photo shot-list?
No. The shot-list plans your general gallery walkthrough. This page is only for Airbnb’s separate Accessibility features section and its feature-specific photo criteria.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The checklist is built in your browser; nothing you type is transmitted or stored.
